Hello I am Gabriel,
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Filmmaking from Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS), where I specialized in Directing, Producing, Editing, and Sound Design. My career began as an Assistant Director and Editor at Santa Transmedia in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where I worked from April 2011 to 2013. I then transitioned into freelance work as a Director and Editor in Porto Alegre from October 2013 to 2016.

In August 2016, I relocated to New York, continuing my editing career and contributing my expertise to various projects. From January 2021 to 2022, I worked as a 3D Scanning Coordinator at Urs Fischer Studio, where I played an integral role in “Chaos”, a high-profile artistic project. Since March 2022, I've been working as an Editor in New York, applying my skills across a diverse range of creative works.

In the realm of cinema, I wrote and directed two short films. "Temporal" (2017) won Best Direction and Best Photography at Mostra Sesc de Cinema, as well as Best Screenplay, Best Photography, and Best Sound Design at the 45th Gramado Film Festival. My expertise in post-production visual effects is also notable, with contributions to several projects, including "Princesa Morta do Jacuí" by Marcela Ilha Bordin, "Música Para Quando As Luzes Se Apagam" by Ismael Caneppele, and "Beira-Mar" by Marcio Reolon and Filipe Matzembacher.

I look forward to collaborating on artistic or commercial projects.
